Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Senior Vice President, Ambulatory Operations to join our team in the Central Region.
Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Vice President, Ambulatory Operations provides leadership, direction, administration and oversight of the Ambulatory Services business line in order to accomplish established strategic objectives and the realization of high quality, economical healthcare services. The incumbent also has oversight of operational delivery and financial performance for all accounts within the Ambulatory Services Practice. The incumbent inspires others to achieve all related financial and operational outcomes at consistently high levels of customer service, while maintaining effective client relationships. The Senior Vice President, Ambulatory Operations, reports directly to the CEO, Healthcare Process Solutions Group and is a participating member of Perot Systems Healthcare Division Leadership Team.
Perot Systems is in constant pursuit of new clients, the incumbent in this role will be a critical contributor to aggressive and strategic business and market development plans.
As a business line leader, the incumbent will work with Perot healthcare and business executives to ensure key performance objectives including exceeding client expectations through superior service, creating and deepening positive client relationships and expanding the scope and duration of services provided to the client, are met. In addition, s/he will ensure that resource models, business planning and forecasts, and performance reporting are managed on a weekly and monthly basis.
Finally, the Senior Vice President, Ambulatory Operations, is responsible for ensuring that the business line is positioned to respond quickly to market changes and client demands through solid business models, market relationships and effective communication.
Required Skills:
Ten to fifteen year experience demonstrating effective operational management within a hospital ambulatory services or physician practice management environment
Prior experience demonstrating effective organizational performance improvement skills
In-depth working knowledge of integrated healthcare organization and administration, agency standards/compliance, and laws applicable to healthcare operations
Integrating various components and support systems of healthcare into a functional continuum of care
A thorough knowledge of healthcare administration, care delivery models with special knowledge in finance, planning, physician relations, human resource management, and nursing
Thorough knowledge of regulations affecting healthcare delivery
Must have thorough understanding of healthcare administration in a highly managed care environment
Excellent team leadership and organizational skills are required
An ability to prioritize multiple demands and projects is critical
Proven written and oral communication skills demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills are required
Must be adept at public speaking and making persuasive presentations.
Must demonstrate strong business acumen, entrepreneurial risk-taking ability, proactive attitude and creativity in problem solving
Strong leadership and negotiation skills and sound decision-making ability are required.
Ability to lead, challenge, and motivate staff
Ability to build teams, as well as consensus is crucial
Ability to deal with complex situations and a large degree of variation in policies, rules and regulations is critical
Flexibility, adaptability, creativity and innovation are required
Must be a self-starter with a high degree of initiative and ability to work independently
A consultative approach to solving client business issues with be critical to success in this position
Minimum Educational Requirements:
Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration from an accredited college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
* Candidates can live anywhere in the Central Region of the US but must be willing to travel 50-75%
