Overview:
Our client is looking for a developer to be responsible for development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of application programming to satisfy project requirements.

Qualifications:
- 4 year college degree or equivalency required.
- Prefer two years minimum experience in Financial Services (brokerage knowledge desired)
- Beta Back Office experience is a plus.
- 5 plus years in a Developer-Analyst position.
- Excellent verbal communication
- Good written communication
- Track record of consistently meeting agreed to dates.
- Experience in escalating issues before they become critical
- Experience in providing weekly status reports
- Excellent analytical skills
- Demonstrated competency in all phases of software development.
- Solid experience with MS Office Products
- Experience working independently under the guidance of a Technical Lead
- Experience collaborating with other team members in creating optimal, maintainable, and scalable application code
- Experience in adopting enterprise standards and guidelines
- Experience in participating in code and design reviews.
- Excellent skills in coding DB2 SQL
- Excellent skills in AIX Shell Scripting
- Good skills with NDM, ConnectDirect, FTP, or other data transfer technology (Not ETL)
- Experience with Syncsort
- Solid warehousing experience
- Good understanding of data modeling and design considerations for analytical systems.
