LAN Administrator in Chicago, IL

Experience: MUST have an undergraduate degree (i.e. BA, BS, BBA).Must have a minimum of 4 years of MICROSOFT NOS (Network Operating System) LAN administration work (non-academic) experience to include performance monitoring, performance tuning, installs, upgrades, backups, recoveries, etc. in a COMPLEX and advanced environment of at least 50 servers (ideal environment size would be 100 servers or larger).MUST be very customer facing oriented and have excellent communication skills (oral and verbal).MUST be proficient in Microsoft Windows O/S (W2K/W2K3).MUST be proficient managing infrastructure in an Active Directory environment.MUST have: (1) STRONG network management tool experience; (2) Proficiency in configuration, installation & management of virtualized environments; (4) Proficiency in communication protocols, IP routing.Pluses: MCSE certification. Proficiency in configuration, installation & management of NAS & SAN environments.
