Overview:
Our client is looking for a Senior Enterprise Systems Monitoring Engineer to support large-scale system, application, service and business activity monitoring solutions. This role will be responsible for implementing and administering monitoring solutions for "client-facing system software".

Duties include installation and configuration of monitoring tools; designing and implementing multiple monitoring consoles; and managing the entire production monitoring system companywide. Will also participate in formulating monitoring strategy improvements.

This technical position collaborates with other team members while consulting with stakeholders in various technical and business groups, to meet their requirements for monitoring solutions.

Current tools being utilized by the organization are:
- Oracle Enterprise Manager/Grid Control (experience would be a major plus)
- Oracle BAM
- Compuware
- ASG Impact

Qualifications:
- Ideal candidate has strong technical background and aptitude working with, supporting and implementing technology solutions to support monitoring of production systems.
- Understanding of how monitoring works in the UNIX, INTEL and Mainframe environments is very beneficial to this position.
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Requires 3-4 years of Monitoring experience
- Overall, 6-8 yrs. of IT experience.
- ITIL Certification a plus.
