The main purpose of this position is to provide resources for the development of CCL/SQL reports and the maintenance of existing CCL/SQL reports as applicable to the various implementations of the Cerner application within the Health Technology operational environment.

CCL reports are a critical component of any Cerner implementation as they provide for the ad hoc reporting needs but also act as a means of data extraction for other critical applications.

The position of CCL Report Writer covers requirements for both the ad hoc reporting function and the data extraction function.



Job Requirements
Ø 4+ years of administration experience in a clinical information systems environment
Ø Proven experience in Report development using Cerner’s Millennium CCL report writing tool.
Ø Knowledge of relational database design and its impact upon performance
Ø Excellent customer service skills and the ability to analyze client requirements
Ø Experience in change control management/version control processes
Ø Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ø Proven ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team
Ø Ability to meet deadlines determined in conjunction with the Reporting Manager
Ø Appropriate computing science qualifications
Ø Working knowledge of health information systems and processes desirable
