Our client is seeking a Senior Wireless Specialist. Responsibilities will include; technical support for servers, analyzing problems, researching new issues and support for IT services and wireless network. The contractor will need to collaborate with high level executives regarding WLAN capacity needs and document WLAN (architecture, design, and layout, including protocols, standards and configuration). Candidate will deploy wireless countermeasures, design & deploy wireless networks and research products, services, protocols & standards to remain abreast of developments in the industry.<br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Experience: Design, implementation, and engineering of a WAN/LAN environment. Experience with radio frequencies, TCP/IP, IEEE 802.11, protocols and electromagnetic interference. Meru experience is a huge plus. Travel for this opportunity could be up to 90%. Proven ability to engineer routers, hubs, switches, and access points from vendors such as Cisco and Meru.
