Infrastructure Analyst III Problem Management Permanent position: This is a highly visible position responsible for driving ITIL compliant Problem Management to improve the availability and quality of services delivered via the company infrastructure by driving down the number of incidents and the impact of those incidents on our customers and stakeholders. It requires close integration with Incident Management, as well as Change and Release Management. And as with all ITIL functions, it must continuously drive improvements in the Problem Management process. Responsibilities Drive and own Problem identification, analysis, and remediation from incidents, monitoring and other sources. Work with cross functional teams to analyze, investigate and diagnosis root cause, as well as completion of corrective actions. Engage at a basic technical level in discussions to evaluate those solutions. Conduct risk and impact analysis to determine the appropriate actions to resolve Problems and developing corresponding Known Error information. Insure Problem and Known Error data are accurately and timely updated Maintain close integration with Incident, Release and Change management Track and appropriately communicate status of problem activity and resolution efforts with all levels of the organization Oversee Root Cause and Problem Management meetings and represent the Problem Management process. Maintain a basic working knowledge of IS systems and platforms, how they are integrated and the services delivered. Identify and implement improvements Problem Management processes. Develop and maintain a working knowledge of my their organizational structure and understand the cross-functional relationships, roles and responsibilities, within IS, Engineering, business partners and business units. Associate degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent work experience required. ITIL Foundation certification required, ITIL certification or equivalent preferred. Minimum of 2 years of Wireless Telecommunications work experience required, 3 years IT Operational experience highly preferred. Proficiency with MS Office and Web publishing tools required. Proficiency with query and reporting tools required Strong technical writing, verbal, organizational, meeting facilitation and interpersonal skills required. High attention to detail required. Strong team player with a high passion for customer satisfaction required. Project Management experience or familiarity preferred.
