High Level Job Description: Job Description: The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for the end-to-end technical architecture for the Direct Store Delivery (DSD) solution envisioned as part of the Food and Beverage Information Resource Template (PIRT). In this capacity, the Enterprise Architect will conduct the Single Point of Failure Analysis (SPOA) spanning SAP, XI, Hand Held Back End (C-sharp, Oracle) and Hand-held devices (Intermec). The Enterprise Architect will also identify risks and develop mitigation plans in close coordination with the various technical and functional stakeholders. The Enterprise Architect will work with the functional and business stakeholders to document the non-functional requirements and lead activities such as performance and volume testing to ensure solution alignment with the stated requirements. Detailed knowledge of SAP integration best practices and the NetWeaver Platform. Deep knowledge of UNIX operating system, Oracle database and Intermec-based hand held devices. Working knowledge of multiple development platforms such as C-sharp and JAVA Ability to grasp new technology concepts and apply it in the build of new solutions. Ability to drive architecture decisions striking the right balance among competing priorities: quality, cost, scope and timeline. Ability to consider, develop and deliver a Technology solution for the enterprise as a whole, broader than just the Technical organizational/business unit. Cross Business Unit respect and recognition as an authority in the Technology area that can be trusted to make 95% of the architecture decisions without moving up the chain of command. Ability to coordinate technical resources across CoE, local market and factory in a virtual set up. Ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders from the CoE, local market and factory. Ability to lead by influence versus mandate. Possess good decision making skills. Be an excellent communicator. Experienced in creating and managing work plans. Be organized and capable of multi-tasking. Should possess strong relationship building, consultative and facilitation skills. Ability to develop architecture strategy and roadmap. Ability to sell the architecture vision to a broad set of stakeholders from PI CoE, local markets and external vendor partners. Ability to formulate and lead the adoption of architecture standards and guidelines in the local market implementations in a Matrix fashion. Ability to institute and sustain governance mechanisms in support of the architecture vision. Required: Required: C# Oracle SAP Desired: Desired: Required Qualifications: Minimum of 15 years of IT experience with 5+ years of SAP implementation experience specifically in the integration area (XI preferred). Full-scale DSD implementation experience in an SAP environment mandatory. 2+ years of large-scale SAP deployment experience preferably in the consumer goods industry. 2+ years hands-on experience with C-sharp and Oracle.
