Resource 1 is in need of a Core Java Developer for a 4 month contract in downtown Chicago, IL. Experience developing Java based applications. Programming skills required include Core Java/J2SE. Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments and TCP/IP-based protocols is a must. Knowledge of threads and collections, multi-threading, core API s (Spring), Web frameworks, TDD (test driven development) or test oriented development, Junit, Jwebunit, selenium and mock framework are key qualifications. Experience with Tibco, FIX messaging and trading application development is desired. Knowledge of source control (ie Clearcase). Strong ability to learn existing applications quickly and to be able to make modifications to them.
