Job Description: Location: Chicago, ILL SQL Server DBA Must have a minimum five years experience in MS SQL Server database environments (three of MS-SQL 2005) with a focus on maintaining, backing up, and optimization of critical data systems including performance tuning, store procedure development, and SSIS design. . Experience in 64-bit clustered environment required . Familiarity with various replication strategies; implementation experience a plus . Experience administering SSAS . Experience in mixed-mode security environment . Strong experience architecting OLTP and OLAP databases . Proficiency in T-SQL profiling and optimization . Ability to use SQL Profiler for deadlock resolution and load analysis . Proficient in the integration of SQL Server/relational databases with an n-tiered application architecture . High level of experience in managing and configuring SSIS packages in production environment . Experience deploying all application database updates via script from a code-versioning system . Keen sense of maintaining database layer as component of a larger application, rather than as a standalone facility The candidate should have . Undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Science or Information Technology . Good estimation skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines while working in a fast paced environment .
