TechAlliance is now seeking a Project Manager Professional who is service -focused and a highly motivated team player. This professional will join our Project Management Office team providing outstanding IT services for a mid-sized enterprise client. The successful candidate must possess demonstrable expertise and experience in the management of fixed-price and T&M projects. The projects will encompass a broad range of business applications and technology for our client organizations. The successful candidate will have the ability to effectively manage multiple project teams of analysts/technicians and complete assigned projects within the time and scope commitments. Required Skills: - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. - At least 8 years business experience. - At least 4 years experience as a Project Manager. - Experience with Project Management Office procedures. - Strong organizational and leadership skills. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Strong planning and implementation skills. - A BS/BA degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent training and experience. Technical Skills: - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft s Project Manager with at least 4 years experience. - Expert skills with Microsoft Word and Excel. (Preferably Office 2007). - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint. Responsibilities: - Planning and hands-on management of IT projects including the preparation of weekly status reports, project budgets and tracking. - Review and approval of Project Documentation. - Report to the PMO Manager any and all discrepancies in project metrics to plan. - Develop and maintain appropriate procedural, functional, and technical documentation. - Maintain relationships with key vendors and client contacts. - Provide procedural guidance and support to project team technicians.
