Job Description: The Database Administrator is responsible for the day to day operation of all databases in use. This includes monitoring, archiving, development, optimization, replication, backup and restoration of these databases. Our client uses SQL Server 2005 and 2008, full range of high availability solutions from Microsoft, and extensive replication based distributed data environment. Database administrator is expected to have familiarity with these technologies. Job Tasks: Manage and maintain all Databases in the Production environment Manage Database Replication and other high availability solutions.
