Overview:

The System/Network Administrator will be responsible for installation, set up, configuration and operation of various systems within the organization with particular focus on managing a multi-site Active Directory domain with a user base of around 2000



Responsibilities:

- Managing the Quest migration tools/process.

- Technical Lead for AD & Exchange related projects

- Complete assigned systems projects and implementations (including hardware installations) on schedule and within budget.

- Monitor performance and conduct required maintenance on assigned systems (LAN and WAN).

- Provide technical support and guidance to users and helpdesk personnel for assigned systems.

- Resolve user and system problems and issues that have been escalated. - Identify potential system problems recommending possible solutions.

- Assist in designing new systems implementations to meet business needs.

- Assist developing maintenance and monitoring systems and processes.

- Develop and maintain network server configuration

- Perform other essential duties as assigned.

- Provide support to external trusts for Domain Co-existence to ensure access to legacy applications



Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent in experience.

- Minimum of three to five years network and server administration

- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) preferred - Minimum of MCPs in Exchange 2003 and Active Directory

- Experience with AD and Exchange migrations in multi-site large user base environments.

- Experience with Quest Migration Tools for Active Directory and Exchange.

- At least 3-4 years experience as Network Administrator

- Excellent computer skills including administration of various Operating System environments including Microsoft Windows-Based environments and Linux

- Skills focusing on Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange Server, Anti-virus methodologies, Linux, Windows XP and Server 2003.

- Knowledge and troubleshooting skills with Cisco routers and switches.

- Excellent troubleshooting skills as it relates to network systems.

- Ability to prioritize, handle and oversee multiple projects.

- Strong organizational and problem solving skills.

- Solid communication, listening and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external clients.

- Ability to work unsupervised and the ability to multi-task

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously

- Team player with customer oriented focus

- Innovative, self-motivated, proactive

- Detail oriented

- Must be available for off-hour emergency calls and consultations

- Experience in Market Research industry is preferable
