Our downtown client seeks a SQL Server DBA to join their team as a full time employee. The DBA will have two main responsibilities: 1)performing operational duties on production, development and test databases and 2)developing databases, stored procedures and Crystal Reports for applications. This will be the sole DBA and will own all the databases, so a strong entrepreneurial spirit is a MUST. This person should also have solid development skills. QUALIFIED CANDIDATES PLEASE EMAIL RESUME TO Experience: 5+ Years of relevant DBA experience 5+ Years of report writing experience (Crystal Reports preferred) 3+ Years of data architecture experience with emphasis on clustering and replication Qualities Technical skills: Proficient in Transact SQL coding, ADO, stored procedure and trigger development on MS SQL and 2000 Database knowledge: Previous experience with database design, database optimization, and database transformation services Communication (written/verbal): Interact with team members regularly, providing status updates on projects and timelines, and compose correspondence in logical, professional, error-free manner Detail Orientation and Teamwork: Become intimately familiar with program and task specifics, and look for opportunities to assist others with data-related tasks To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
