Our client; a major global investment management firm is looking for an analyst for a new business initiative within its alternative investments division. This new business will allow high net worth offshore clients globally to access customized hedge fund portfolios. The analyst will also establish new vendor relationships to assist in the trading and settlement of these funds. Additionally, a wide range of new processes and technology enhancements are being defined. This Analyst's position will be designed to execute the new business opportunity. The definition of this role will likely evolve as the new business grows rapidly in the first twelve months.

Principal initial responsibilities will include developing business procedures for new business activities, working closely with outsourced vendor in new account set-up, trade entry, and corporate actions, and performing record keeping activities for entry dates and equalization balances.
Experience: The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of financial services experience, a bachelors degree and strong Microsoft Office skills.
