Robert Half Technology has a client, located in the downtown Chicago loop, who is looking for an immediate QA Analyst resource to start as early as July 9th for a 6 month+ contract only position. This is predominantly a manual testing environment where the QA Analyst will be expected to be able to take web application design documents and use a Microsoft Excel based template to create test case for multiple initiatives. The QA Analyst will be a self-starter and be able to work independently but be able to articulate questions and research with project manager and developer stakeholders. In addition to communication excellence and professionalism, the QA Analyst must have a strong working knowledge of QTP.

Experience: This QA Analyst position requires 1+ years experience in software testing and quality assurance and a bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science. Intermediate OTP skills and practical working knowledge of software testing methodology, strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently are also required.
