The Managed Meta Data Environment (MME) Architect has responsibility for assessing requirements and defining the strategy, technical architecture, implementation plan, and delivery of enterprise meta data environment solution. The MME will capture both business and technical meta data to support management and utilization of operational and decision support systems at the enterprise level of major organizations.



The MME Architect must have prior experience leading successful meta data repository implementations as well as a broad background and experience with IT application development. This individual is responsible for establishing the long-term strategy and technical architecture as well as the short-term scope for a multi-phased MME effort. This person must have strong professional consulting skills and the ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization.



. Find/generate executive level support for the enterprise MME initiative

. Define key business drivers for the enterprise MME initiative

. Deliver a project scope that directly supports the key business drivers

. Define technical requirements and architecture for the MME

. Determine MME extensions, tailoring, and customization requirements

. Recommend/select MME tool(s)

. Direct capture and integration of meta data into the MME

. Direct meta data access and information delivery

. Define security requirements for the MME

. Define meta data standards for the MME


Experience: -MUST HAVE 4+ Years of Rochade experience

-Must have prior experience leading successful meta data repository implementations as well as a broad background and experience with IT application development.

-Must have strong professional consulting skills and the ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization.

-Required Experience:

. Experience in leading successful enterprise MME efforts

. Technical familiarity with enterprise meta data repository tool(s)

. Strong data/meta data modeling skills

. Strong business and communication skills

. Broad based information technology experience

. Strong professional consulting skills

. Current knowledge of the meta data market; vendors, and standards bodies

. Understanding of various BI tools

. Strong understanding of ETL tools

. Strong understanding of API protocols, ODBC and/or JDBC,

. Relational Database Experience is a MUST.

. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

. Strong comprehension and communication skills.

. Strong technical skills.

. Expert meeting and project facilitation skills.

. Capacity to develop a clear understanding of the business needs and incorporate these needs into technical solutions

Education:

. Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university required or equivalent work experience

. BS/MS in Engineering, IT, or Computer Science preferred



This is at least a 1 year contract.
