The primary responsibility will be to architect and develop enterprise solutions using the Microsoft .NET framework. These applications must integrate seamlessly into our existing applications and infrastructure. Another responsibility is to maintain existing legacy applications. The candidate needs good troubleshooting and analytical skills. He/she is expected to quickly gather a clear understanding of the business and usability of the applications beyond the actual coding.

Required skills:

- Minimum of 2+ yrs classic ASP development experience

- Minimum 3 yrs+ .ASP .NET environment development experience

- Minimum of 3 Years+ of complex SQL Server 2000/2005 database development skills including writing stored procedures, views, SQL optimization, triggers, ect

- Strong data-minded skill-set; Relational Design / ERD

- XML/XSLT

- Experience using and/or developing for SharePoint 2007

- Full life cycle development

Preferred Experience:

- SharePoint 2007 Administration skills a plus.

-Experience with converting/migrating classic ASP applications to .Net a plus

- Experience with AJAX a plus

- Experience with Web Services and SOA’s a plus

- Understanding how to work with version control tools

- Understanding of Object-Oriented a plus

- Experience in developing and implementing best practices and standards

General Requirements:

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Education:

4-year degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience

The successful candidate should also posses effective analytical, problem solving, planning, organizational and communication skills.

Must possess the ability to work with legacy code from various developers
