Position: Oracle Apps DBA

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: Chicago IL



Required Skills: Oracle 11i E-Business Suite, 9i, 10gAS, performance tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery



Job Description:



. Must have every good experience working in design, implement and maintain Oracle 11i E-Business Suite database system.



. Hands on experience with Oracle 11.5.9 or 11.5.10 Applications including; Financials, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, ASCP, or HRMS



. Experience with Oracle 10gAS Stack including; Single Sign On integration with the Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Discoverer



. Experience installing, upgrading, cloning, and patching cloning, installation, high availability, performance tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery and maintaining the Oracle 11i E-business suite and 9i databases as well as provide level 2 & 3 support on a rotating basis



. Hands on experience with a multi-tier Oracle Applications environment



. Experience performance tuning, setting up highly availability, and securing Oracle Applications 11i



. Oracle Applications system administration experience including concurrent manager configuration



. Strong understanding of the Oracle technology stack and architecture for Oracle Applications 11.5.9/11.5.10



. Hands on experience with Oracle 9i database management systems and overall Oracle technical environment



. Solid Unix system administration fundamentals and ability to create SQL & shell scripts for automation of tasks



. Experience with DBA support for custom application development efforts



. Experience with MSCA and/or ASCP modules





. Experience working on Oracle 9i or 10g RAC is required.



. Strong inter-personal and communication skills are required.
