Contract Administrator in Chicago, IL
Minimum 3 years experience required.
Knowledge of contracts required: Candidates must understand contracts and be able to identify each piece of a contract/how they fit together, verbiage, terms etc.
Major Duties
Examines contract documents which includes, master agreements, SOW's, addendums and amendments to ensure documents are complete and fully executed.
Communicates and follow-up with internal partners regarding incomplete information.
Assist in the input of the Enterprise Contract Management (ECM) system.
Develops and maintains files for supplier relationships. Ensures file information is complete by completing process flow of scanning, updating ECM system and accurately filed away.
Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of Contract Law and Procurement Industry knowledge acquired through training or experience to assist in completing the Contract Life Cycle process within the IT Procurement department.
Knowledge of various forms of contracts and procurement terminology usually acquired through training or experience is needed to review the contract documents for accuracy. Organizational skills are also needed to process and file documents within a scheduled timeframes.
Familiarity with a contract management system (DiCarta, Upside, Oracle) is desired.
Paralegal Training or Certificate is desired.
Microsoft Office skills are required.
30 wpm typing skills also required.
