Our client located in the North suburbs of CHICAGO, ILLINOIS currently seeks a JAVA PROGRAMMER for either a "DIRECT-HIRE" or 6 month "OPTION-TO-HIRE" opportunity.

Required skills:

5+ years experience and in depth knowledge of Software Engineering utilizing Client / Server and Object Oriented Technologies.

Experience in Swing / AWT, SWT, Eclipse Forms, JFace, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and related technologies.

Hands-on experience using Eclipse or Eclipse based development tools
Experience in Iterative and Agile development methodologies such as
XP, SCRUM, or TD.


Helpful skills:

Experience in using Rational tools (ClearCase, ClearQuest, and RAD/RSA) a plus
Strong J2EE experience on WebSphere or any other related application servers a plus
Working knowledge / experience of Eclipse-plugin or Eclipse RCP development a huge plus.

Create / maintain UI patterns and standards library; develop information classification systems, diagram relationships between site content/features
Document scenarios, workflows, site architectures, interaction notes and wireframe formats.

Expert design of easy-to-use interfaces, user / task analysis, usability testing, and interface design.
