FLASH Developers in Chicago, IL
Great interactive advertising agency in the Aon building is seeking FLASH Developers, with a minimum of 2 years of experience, for a 2 month project. The Flash Developer will collaborate with designers and developers in all phases of the creative process from conceptualization and design to development, testing and deployment of top notch Flash experiences. This position, based on the FLASH Developer's performance, could go full time. The FLASH Developer will be working on client sites and must be strong in Actionscript 3. The main responsibilities of the Developer will be to transform client goals into compelling, usable, media-rich Interactive experiences including website and online advertising projects. The Ideal candidate must be able to write clean, documented, reusable and scalable Actionscripting code for deployment on the web and other platforms. The Flash Developer should be able to author and maintain technical documentation throughout life of the project(s). He/she should also maintain a coding skill set at the forefront of cutting-edge technology and share knowledge as applicable. The Flash Developer must perform other duties as assigned. Experience: The ideal candidate must have experience in full cycle software development including analysis, design, development, testing and implementation. He/she should be professional in Flash 9, Actionscripting 2 and 3, Photoshop, Illustrator and Java. The ideal FLASH Developer for this position must have strong understanding of latest Flash features such as Filters, Blend modes, FlashType, Bitmap caching, Alpha Blending, Advanced gradient control and External Interface. He/she must be able to work effectively and efficiently in a collaborative environment with designers and coders. The ideal candidate should possess effective oral and written communication skills and also strong attention to detail, organization and time/project management skills. He/she should have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment. The ideal Flash developer should have BFA, BA in Graphic Design, Computer Science or related field and should also possess a minimum of 2 years designing for the web in a professional services environment.
