What is Arc Database Marketing?
Arc Database Marketing works in partnership with Clients as well as other Agency counterparts (e.g., Account Management, Planning, Creative, Production) to seamlessly integrate one-to-one marketing communication into all aspects of the marketing plan. Our role is to effectively harness the vast information already on-hand in Client customer files and databases to shape and deliver individualized customer communication. Vital to our efforts is the compilation and assessment of results that impact future communications.
Our team of database marketing professionals is organized into six service areas: strategy & planning, contact management, marketing operations, modeling & segmentation & analysis, technical consulting, compliance. Some of us are specialists in one area, while others have a more broad perspective. Together, we help our Clients bring together their marketing, technology, analytic, and customer care resources to deliver on the promise of one to one marketing, using our own resources when necessary to get the job done.
The Database Marketing Consultant (Compliance) charged with Information Security, under direction and counsel from the Director (Security and Compliance), has day-to-day responsibility for ensuring Agency and third-party Vendor compliance with Client system and data security parameters in place in support of Client data(base)-driven marketing initiatives.
As part of this function, s/he is responsible for helping to monitor performance and review compliance with Agency and Client IT security policy, process and procedure governing the support of Client marketing initiatives through internal Agency and external third-party Vendor information system and security audits. These audits are multi-faceted and including the following categories: 1) Security vulnerability; 2) Physical security control; 3) Computerized access control; 4) Operational security; 5) Networking security; 6) Contingency planning and response; and 7) Privacy data requirements.
Finally, s/he may also be called upon to plan, coordinate, and manage internal and external system and information access processes and procedures to Client, Agency and Third-Party systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or higher
Five to eight years' experience in a related field working as an Information Security Auditor or similar internal information security role.
One or more technical certifications are preferred: CISSP, SSCP, CISA, GIAC, CCNA, CCSA
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High comfort level with numbers
Attention to detail
Ability to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team
Experience with direct marketing industry (technology, operations, infrastructure)
