Our growing Client seeks a Director of Professional Services with proven success within the IT consulting industry implementing technology and security consulting services. Our Consulting Client stands alone in the depth and breadth of its service offerings. This position requires travel only within the surrounding local markets.The candidate will be responsible for the recruiting, management and career development of the consulting staff, for ensuring quality services delivery in all consulting engagements, and for revenue growth of new services and business opportunities in the Midwest region.This will include meeting professional services revenue and profit goals while working with management on the regional P&L, as well as providing support, both tactical and strategic, in achieving regional product sales goals.The candidate will be responsible for recruiting and supporting the consulting organization at the regional level, including engineers/account management, prioritization, and forecasting.The candidate will manage consulting resources, aide sales in the creation of and technical details of client proposals, and work with sales to ensure services are sold properly.The candidate will coordinate with sales management, develop and maintain relationships with channel partners, and provide engagement management to ensure customer satisfaction. The ability to interact and manage highly technical engineers is a requirement for this position. The position requires a person with a strong technical background and the ability to learn new technology quickly and independently. Responsibilities/Requirements:? 5-10 years of consulting and consulting management experience at the regional level.? 3-5 years experience managing all aspects of a services business including P&L management experience.? Prior experience in systems integration consulting or software/ hardware vendor services.? Demonstrated ability to grow and manage the technical personnel and processes associated with enterprise consulting engagements.? Effective oral, presentation, and written communication skills.? Demonstrated ability to effectively recruit, develop and retain project-based employees.? Demonstrated ability to develop, deploy and maintain career development and project delivery programs.? Must have the ability to work in a team environment with a positive disposition. ? Must be highly motivated and goal oriented. ? Must possess strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task; and thrive in a busy environment. ? Must be a high-energy, self-driven, performance-driven individual.
