Our client is looking for a Lead Engineer that will provide leadership to the staff by creating a high performance environment, driven by the strategic objectives and goals of client. The ideal engineer for this role, will also, leverage and extend existing standards, procedures, testing protocols, quality assurance processes, and seeks way to scale repetitive processes. He/she will be managing a team of developers located both in Chicago and off-shore; will be producing regular and detailed progress reports to Director of PS, including information which may impact target achievements or service delivery. The ideal Engineer for this position, will configure and develop custom code using APEX, .NET, C#, VB Script, SQL technologies that allows the product to meet the business needs of the customer ; will assist developers with debugging and other troubleshooting ; maintain ongoing documentation of consulting activities and delivers complete and comprehensive end-of-engagement reporting . He/she will be an
interface with customers and partners on general and specific issues and involving other experts as necessary

Experience: The Engineer must have minimum 10 years development experience , with 3+ years project management experience. The ideal candidate should demonstrate ability to develop and deploy software solutions that meet customer requirements; ability to write professional and technical reports and procedures ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals. He/she must be skilled at defining and managing to goals and performance metrics. The person must have strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization ;ability to work non-standard business hours to accommodate business needs ;must demonstrate a high degree of personal and professional integrity. It is highly preferred for this candidate to have a Bachelor&#146;s degree in Computer Science or related field
