SHORT SCOOP: 5+ yrs development exp with ASP.Net, SQL, PL/SQL & Oracle; relational DBs, reporting & analysis a must. Perl, UNIX, Java, BusinessObjects and/or Crystal Reports exp preferred. SUMMARY:The Senior Developer Analyst creates technical/coding modifications for high-quality programming solutions. He/she will develop and support complex, multitiered systems, and integrate web products with other applications. RESPONSIBILITIES:* Analyzes, designs, codes, and tests client requested configurations to a vendor-purchased web-based application or modifications to a multitier back-end environment* Creates and integrates complicated custom applications and features to web-based products* Creates complex queries to pull data extracts and/or update large sums of data* Maintains a nightly batch job system to process data feeds* Changes stored procedures that display, edit, and record metadata and/or transactional data * Supports reporting system by creating repeatable, transferable coding designs that can be leveraged for other solutions* Writes specifications based on client requirements* Creates and executes test cases to ensure changes are in line with requirements.
Experience: EXPERIENCE:* Bachelor's degree in IT or related field --OR-- 4+ yrs of professional programming exp* 5+ yrs exp creating complicated, large-scale requests in a multitier environment, including the integration of a web product to other applications* 5+ yrs exp integrating complicated custom min-applications and features to the web-based products and maintenance of existing custom features* 3+ yrs exp performing dual roles of coding requests and working in production support* Ability to provide a record of creating complex web applications from beginning to end * Full understanding of intricate technical concepts, components, and implementation of created solutions* Ability to step through vendor purchase coding and associated back-end processes to resolve production issues* Firm understanding of relational databases and data integrity* Demonstrated ability to create complex queries to pull exact data* Exp with ASP.Net, Oracle, and PL/SQL * Understanding of metadata concepts* Strong verbal and written communication skills* Ability to interface comfortably with clients and vendors----PREFERRED----* Exp in UNIX, PERL, and Javascript coding* Exp with Business Objects or Crystal Reports* Extensive data mapping exp* Exp performing or supporting fundraising or educational development.
