SUMMARY:The IT Epic Specialist will support the IT needs of various departments across the organization. This individual must be Epic certified and have project coordination, application implementation, upgrade, and ongoing maintenance or enhancement experience. POSITION DESCRIPTION:* Organizes project activities and/or phases. * Creates detailed work plans and timelines. * Identifies resources needed and provides timely status reports. * Provides data transfer, access and manipulation of aggregate and comparative data.* Assists with system selection, maintenance/upgrade and implementation (system definition, build, testing and conversion planning, and interfaces). * Builds and maintains queries' catalog. Creates and modifies queries as requested by users. * Demonstrates system effectiveness by developing and monitoring testing scenarios and methodologies. * Evaluates system utilization and performance. * Participates in system optimization.
