Performs data modeling, logical and physical database design. Includes maintenance of database dictionaries, monitoring of standards and procedures, access methods and time, validation checks, organization and statistical methods. Responsible for data loading, security, performance monitoring and tuning, capacity planning, and backup and recovery.
