Accounting-focused Business Analyst. This role will work with accounting, operations, and various IT teams to understand, source, and audit market and reference data which is provided by various exchanges and data vendors.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the accounting group to understand their business requirements Proactively offer recommendations for best practices use of technology in accounting processes. Help accounting define and document requirements and acceptance criteria Communicate requirements, domain expertise, and big picture concepts to technical teams Work with internal product managers and external software vendors Include accounting, product management, and IT management with the development and implementation process Assist with training and mentoring of accounting staff on existing and new systems Ensure that any technology implementation meets stated business requirements Experience and SkillsSignificant experience providing business/systems analysis for software development and/or implementation of accounting projects Strong knowledge of accounting and finance fundamentals such as usage of GL account structures, accrual vs. cash accounting, and GAAP 3 years experience analyzing and translating client needs to create functional requirements Working knowledge of MS Dynamics GP or MS Great Plains 9 Working knowledge of SQL Excellent oral and written communication skills To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
