We are looking for a Test Analyst for Quick Test Pro for a 3 month project with our client located in Chicago, IL. Skills Required:* Responsible for planning, creating, maintaining, and reviewing regression test automation; and assisting management with: making improvements; influencing technical strategy, goals and practices.* Will support Test Automation activities for client's software applications. It will create acceptable quality automated tests to eliminate repeated manual testing and maintenance of regression test beds. * Would also increase technical direction and skills of the system testing team. Essential Functions:1. Gather or Plan and Create test cases for regression automation using Quick Test Pro.2. Ensure that test cases written are automatable using QTP3. Administration of Automated Test Framework.4. Analyze output generated from automated tests5. Oversee the implementation of testing products by junior testing engineers for use by testing team.6. Evaluate and qualify testing products on leading-edge technology components.7. Provide technical support to help resolve testing customers' product-related problems/issues.8. Serve as a technical expert resolving critical and complex issues.9. Provide technical direction and expertise to testing groups and/or departments.10. Apply knowledge by providing significant contributions across multiple testing projects and by acting in a leadership/mentoring capacity.11. Find solutions and initiate testing changes proactively in a proactive manner.12. Apply knowledge to multiple areas of the products and functional teams.13. Produce strategies to address product and/or process requirements.14. Ensure product adherence to Enterprise product adoption standards.15. Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.16. Maintain complete confidentiality of company business.17. Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.
