Dynamic Trading and Financials Firm, located in the Chicago Loop, is currently seeking a Financial Software Engineer. Candidate will be able to proactively identify opportunities and recommend development projects that will enable traders to either identify new trading opportunities or assist in improving current trading activities. Typical projects include all aspects of trading applications, including improving user interfaces, analyzing database schemas, and identifying historical price and volatility patterns. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, engineering or related discipline. Minimum 1 year to 5 years (max) of professional experience. Software development experience in C# or C , Java desirable. Demonstrated proficiency at following accepted software development life cycles and associated standards and procedures. Capable of taking ownership of a project and handle all phases of development. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
