Specific elements of the role include: Work as part of a project team to coordinate development and maintenance of SQL databases and analytical models to meet client engagement needs Process information through the compilation, importation, categorization, calculation, and validation of data Design and program queries to analyze large health care information datasets in order to identify and evaluate trends, opportunities, and compliance issues Perform ongoing data validation and testing to ensure data integrity and reliability Prepare management reports to effectively communicate and explain complex information, define and evaluate problems, identify underlying facts or trends, and present conclusions or recommendations Plan, develop, and implement security measures to safeguard Protected Health Information Provide basic technical support in the areas of database administration, data warehousing and database performanceQualifications Bachelor Degree in Computer and Information Science, Management Information Systems, Management Science, or similar curriculum Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server or other relational database software Experience with database reporting tools and packages such as Business Object Crystal Reports, Tableau, etc. Knowledge of practical application of relational database design principles, techniques, and procedures Two-to-three years of relevant professional related work experience (experience in health care preferred) Knowledge of SAS, SQL+, or Oracle a plus Microsoft SQL Server certification a plus If this sounds like an applicable position for your profile, I would welcome the chance to speak with you immediately about the fit.Russ Holland(see below) To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
