May perform one or more of the following: General Summary: Improve the value of MIDAS+ software at client sites by providing expertise on maximizing software use. Identify and resolve site specific issues hindering effective use of the software, including assistance in implementation of quality resource management and Case Management processes.Develop and support regional user groups. Essential Job Functions: Assess client use of MIDAS+ products and services. Identify opportunities for improvement in use of MIDAS and provide/coordinate solutions. Identify site specific issues hindering use of MIDAS and provide/coordinate solutions. Make suggestions to enhance product use. Classify user effectiveness on both an overall basis and on a modular basis. Develop relationships with leaders at clients sites, championing MIDAS+ use Identify appropriate sales and support opportunities. Participate in planning process improvements at client sites, including expanding use of MIDAS+ products and services. Serve as a resource to clients on implementation of new MIDAS+ modules. Identify client’s need for data outputs, and assist in development and interpretation of reports. Serve as the primary liaison with clients on issues related to module use. Facilitate information sharing within client base. Coordinate regional user groups. Encourage client sharing of expert use of MIDAS+ applications through Users Groups. Develop tools to assist clients with successful implementation and use of specific MIDAS+ modules for process improvement. Identify generalized improvements in implementation, support and product development. Provide guidance and direction to clients on clinical processes in the areas of Quality, Case Management, Risk, and other clinical applications related to the use of MIDAS+. Consult with clients regarding improved process efficiencies using MIDAS+ software and tools. Participate as a member of the Regional Consulting Team Work collegially with other team members, across regions Provide leadership for your assigned regional team Provide direction and mentoring for regional specialist team members, with a focus on those in your assigned region. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong understanding of MIDAS+, DataVision and other products offered. Experience in hospital support functions including Quality Management, Case Management, and Risk Management and safety. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with customers, co-workers and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner. Ability to establish effective, professional working relationships with clients and co-workers. Strong analytical ability. Organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently with high degree of reliability. Ability to lead and serve as a mentor to others. Education and Experience Bachelors degree in nursing or related field.A minimum of 3 years experience in a healthcare quality improvement environment, risk management, and/or Case Management and at least2 years hands on use of the MIDAS+ product.Strong clinical background is preferred.
