Desk Top Manager in Chicago, IL
Prestigious Fortune 500 Company located in Chicagos Loop is currently seeking a Help Desk Manager with Trading or Financial business experience. Candidates will manage over 4-5 people and 150-200 pcs. Any trading software is a huge plus.
Essential Job Functions:
Trains and supervises Help desk staff.
Delegates and schedules work among help desk staff.
Advanced help desk problem resolution.
Assesses help desk staff capabilities and ensure that procedures are followed.
Learning all IT help desk services.
Schedules help desk staff.
Communicates with other department members regarding policies and procedures.
Available in an On-Call capability for help desk problems.
Experience: 3-5 yrs. Management Exp.
Hardware and software experience.
Ability to effectively communicate verbally in person, on the telephone, electronically, and in writing.
Ability to effectively train others in the help desk procedures.
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Strong attention to detail and effective problem solving skills required.
The individual must posses these skills and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job.
