A team leader is the first level of leadership at Acxiom and leads a team/s of associates within a unit or process area. Team Leaders play a critical role in providing day-to-day hands-on guidance, direction and support for a team of associates.

Duties and Responsibilities:
All Team Leaders assume a common set of responsibilities and their primary function is facilitating the team processes and accountability for the results of their team's efforts. However the Team Leader may also have responsibilities and duties within their functional area. These duties and responsibilities will vary within each functional area. The following is a listing of those common and typical duties and responsibilities of Team Leaders:
Set team initiatives and priorities based on client/organizational business goals and objectives.
Provide day-to-day leadership to team to meet goals and objectives.
Communicate effectively with team and customers (internal or external) to facilitate workflow and affect resolution to project barriers and problems.
Lead the team in evaluating its performance against goals.
Schedule and facilitate team meetings.
Serve as the spokesman of the team and represent the team in leadership meetings.
Lead the team in exploring alternatives and determine what improvements can be made to work methods, processes and procedures.
Work with team members to find solutions to problems that the team encounters and moderate discussions within the team.
Provide input on team members' objectives and ensure these are being met.
Foster the growth and development of all the team members and strive to continuously improve team performance. Provide regular coaching and feedback to each associate and provide guidance when associates are ready for job role level movement (JRLM).
Administer team activities such as work planning, task scheduling, time off and team celebrations.
Provide input on hiring, compensation, reviews and terminations for team members.

EDUCATION
BS/BA Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) or experience

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

? 8+ years of Server Operating Systems architecture, hardware configuration, system fault tolerance - Mastery
? Designing, planning, configuring, and providing administration management of server systems - Mastery
? Technical leadership and project management skills - Mastery
? Evaluation, recommendation, and selection of existing or emerging technologies in the marketplace to meet changing needs of business - Experienced
? Outlook Exchange; Citrix - basic understanding of the environment
? Certifications strongly preferred (e.g., MCSE, CNE, CCA)
