As a Technology Strategy Consultant you must be capable of providing solutions to complex business and IT problems that require bottom line improvements. Your core competencies should include: analyzing business architecture and strategy for purposes of developing IT alignment strategies; IT management processes; redesigning/optimizing business and IT organizations; IT cost management, financial planning/analysis and leadership/mentoring skills. This includes a solid background in Application Portfolio Analysis, i.e., evaluating customer application portfolios, identifying opportunities and issues, migration path to a future application portfolio. Experience: Here's a summary of what you must have:
? IT governance in Fortune 1000 size companies
? Redesign/optimization of the IT organization and service delivery functions
? IT strategy and planning for complex multi-line businesses and Analysis of business architecture and strategy for purpose of developing IT-Business alignment strategies
