Our cleint is a music and entertainment venue with multiple revenue streams. Due to an internal promotion the client has a need for a business analyst. The position in primarily responsible for the production, maintenance and completion of the annual budget. Providing detailed feedback to the budget holder, many of whom are not accounting or finance experts. Manage budget process to efficiently and effectively develop, reforecast, and report consolidated short-and-long-term operating and capital budgets. Secure, evaluate reasonableness, and maintain supporting documentation for budget amounts by department /budget managers. Refine budgeting process to institute quarterly budgets. Review quarterly actual results to budget, reforecast as necessary, and resolve variances. Review purchase requisition forms for necessary budget reforecast information. Prepare all schedules and analytical back-up for Finance Committee review and approval. Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. Minimum of five years of budget Proficiency in Excel required; Great Plains and FRX proficiency desirable. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate and work effectively with all levels of employees and management.
