Position Description:

The Support Analyst is responsible for internal end user support for a global financial institution. The person filling this role will be primarily responsible for e-mail requests and assigned fault tickets with software related issues. This role also involves new user setup, building workstations, and other daily administrative tasks. Candidate must be a team player and follow methodical practices in support duties.

Required Skills:

* Office 2000, XP and 2003 experience
* Microsoft Office Specialist certification (Office 2000, Office XP, or Office 2003)
* Third party application support
* Good communication skills
* Windows 2000 / XP support
* Active Directory administration
* Knowledge of LAN support
* Knowledge of Exchange support
* Knowledge of Ghost Imaging application

Responsibilities:

*Delivery of a first class IT support service.
*Co-ordination of changes to Telecommunications system.
*Provide technical support to customers by telephone and desk-side.
*Install proprietary business applications, market data products and off-the-shelf software.
*Write or update installation instructions for business applications, market data products and off-the-shelf software.
*Build positive relationships with customers.
*Plan and execute system acceptance of new applications or existing application upgrades.
