Introduction The software design environment for Aon/Impact Forecasting incorporates a Microsoft Visual Studio framework base on .NET technology using C# (?C sharp?) and SQL/SQL Express as Database. Individuals which wish to join the design team must have good communication and interpersonal skills to work in the fast-paced high-pressure environment. Software Engineer/Analyst Software development engineer with background in Computer Science or MIS experience. Bachelors degree minimum required. Must have 4 to 6 years experience in developing application (using Object Oriented methodology) in MS Visual Studio, preferably in C++/C# languages. Development experience with SQL Server Programming using ADO.NET, ODBC is plus. At least 2 years of Object Oriented development experience with full Software development lifecycle. Should have knowledge of various report generation tools such as Crystal Reports or other Microsoft based reporting facilities such as Report Viewer. Knowledge of MapObjects GIS software from ESRI is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. Duties: Engineer must work with production/research team to produce required features. Involve in documentation, design and development of application. Develop report generation facilities within in-house applications. Report generation provides complete dissemination of scientific analysis of insurance related data via databases, text files, GIS mapping, and various graphic formats.
