The interactive designer we seek will have strong programming, development and design skills in order to deliver and service interactive projects on the Internet and through multi-media. Typical day-to-day activities (as if anything we do is typical) will involve working closely with the Creative Director to design and produce Web sites, interactive presentations, photography and video -prepares proofs, tests files and sends files to vendors, etc.

Additionally, our interactive designer will assist with identifying and leveraging the appropriate interactive and online opportunities for clients; serve as a support role whenever needed by the client; perform the programming (coding and database development) and system design required to meet the strategies and features of client projects. An expert in HTML, web standards and capabilities of browsers and design constraints on the Web, the interactive designer has a strong design style and creative design solutions within constrains of the Web.

The position will involve team coordination with all groups especially with creative management directing how final art is visually implemented; working collaboratively with project teams to keep team members and clients informed of progress and issues. You will also perform all final testing of websites and other interactive products before release, making any required corrections. A team player who’s not afraid to roll up his/her sleeves, you're someone with a strong client service orientation that stays current on the latest technical and software tools.
Experience: Ideal candidates have experience as a Web and/or interactive designer in an agency environment. We prefer a 4-year degree in multimedia, graphic design, visual arts or related field from an accredited university. You have a portfolio of creative artwork demonstrating a wide-range of work serving various client industries. And you can demonstrate expert knowledge of Dreamweaver and HTML programming, Flash, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
