This Engineer will maintain integrity of the Chicago and remote data centers. One of the main responsibilities of this Data Center Engineer is maintaining cooling, UPS, KVM, building systems, rack and cable servers and other data center equipment. This candidate must have at least 5+ years hands-on experience with data center management. In this role you will participate in the expansion planning for all data centers as well as monitor environmental conditions of all data centers. Experience: This Data Center Engineer position requires data center architecture experience, a thorough understanding of UPS, cooling, environmental sensors, power, and other data center-related technologies, and the ability to coordinate with external vendors. The ability to work well with others and to document architecture and procedures is required, as is acting as a team player. Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must for this role. Regular travel will be involved.
