We are currently looking to hire an experienced Business Analyst with Technical Writer and Training experience to join our software consulting practice to provide business analysis, technical writing of functional software specifications and training materials, and hands on training as part of a diverse team that provides Oracle E-Business Applications maintenance, enhancements, interfaces, and support services for a large enterprise of over 30,000 employees.

This unique team member will work with the user community and functional and technical leads to determine user requirements for enhancements and modifications. This person possesses excellent analytical, communication, and business skills. Because this role works so closely with the functioning Oracle applications, they will also be able to update and create user, training, and technical documentation when needed. Using the well-rounded understanding of the functions of these applications, the BA will also deliver user training when needed.

Roles and Responsibilities:
. Identify and document functional and software requirements as defined by business users in support of enhancements and modifications to existing ERP application
. Facilitate the definition and validation of requirements discussions with business users for enhancements, interfaces, and reports
. Identify and document functional requirements for conversions and interfaces from and to Oracle applications
. Develop workflow, charts, diagrams and other written specifications for system initiatives.

. Provide documentation using project specified approach (Oracle AIMS Methodology) for all development and configuration work.
. Work with users, business analysts, developers, and other technical staff in support of Oracle E-Business application enhancements, interfaces, maintenance and support
. Facilitate and perform user acceptance testing
. Perform hands on business user training
. Identify and document functional requirements enhancements and interfaces with various systems.
. Prepare training materials to support end user training (training manuals, quick guides, etc.)
. Perform other duties as required.


Experience: Qualifications and Attributes:

. 3+ years experience as a business and/or process analyst
. Experience gathering and documenting complex business requirements for software application enhancements, interfaces, and reports
. Experience conducting best practices research
. Experience with use cases and workflows
. Experience with an ERP system and associated financials and HRMS modules (GL, AP, PO, AR, HR, Payroll, Benefits, etc.)
. Experience with Oracle 11i E-Business Suite applications (preferred)
. Strong ability to communicate with business users, software developers, and other technical staff.
. Experience with SDLC or comparable methodologies
. Experience facilitating and performing user acceptance testing, creating training documents, and providing hands on training of business users
. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Visio)
Good understanding of financial and human resources related business concepts and processes
. BA/BS or equivalent degree
. College degree in business, management information systems, or computer science (preferred)
. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
. Strong verbal and written communication skills
. Team player with a positive attitude
. Proven ability to work independently and see tasks through to completion.
. Consulting experience (preferred)
. Public sector/government experience (preferred)
