Our innovative client, with operations in downtown Chicago is looking for a talented, skilled Programmer-Analyst to perform a wide variety of programming assignments using SQL Server and Oracle databases and using various programming technologies including C# .NET, Java, PHP and other web technologies. The Programmer Analyst will collaborate with business users to help create well defined solutions to business problems. The Programmer Analyst’s primary focus will be back-end Business Applications.
Experience: This Programmer Analyst will code, test, and troubleshoot programs and design/refine database structures. He/she must also maintain and modify programs, make approved changes to programs and documentation as well as create test scenarios for regression and unit testing and perform them in concert with QA. Other responsibilities include creating technical documentation and troubleshooting problems that affect the business processes.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant experience, strong analytic ability and full-lifecycle software development experience and excellent programming skills. Experience with Great Plains, Microsoft CRM and exposure to ETL and data transformation tools are required. Exposure and experience in Business Objects and other reporting technologies is a plus. This position requires a minimum of Bachelors degree or equivalent degree in computer science/engineering/related field and experience. A candidate must enjoy learning new technologies as the variety of projects & requirements need a diverse set of solutions to build them.
