Assoc Partner Strategy & Change - Small & Medium Business in Chicago, IL
Join a prominent, national consulting firm in their Mid-Market Strategy Practice as an Associate Partner (AP). You will drive a consulting book of business and ensure successful delivery of client consulting engagements. This includes executing market development, sales, and delivery leadership for our client's mid-market Strategy & Change clients. Responsibilities include developing channel and client relationships at the C-level, identifying and closing new business opportunities which utilize Global Business Services capabilities as well as other related services. Delivery responsibilities include providing strategy-related advice and counsel to clients, and oversight and accountability for successful strategy implementations and client satisfaction. You must be based in Chicago.
If work-life balance is important, your weekday travel is typically three nights away from home with an emphasis on achieving a satisfying work-life balance. Occasional weeks may require four nights.
Experience: Here is a summary of what you must have before being considered. Please review carefully and submit your resume if you meet the following criteria
. Must have a min. of 10 years previous external strategy consulting experience (no exceptions), preferably with a large firm
. Must have demonstrated ability to sell strategy consulting work (in addition to delivery)
. Must have experience in the wholesale distribution and/or manufacturing industries
. Must have Operations Strategy experience, with a heavy emphasis on ERP and core technology transformation
. Must have proven experience selling and delivering strategy work to Mid-Market clients
