Our Client currently seeks a SENIOR NETWORK VOICE ENGINEER with strong CISCO CALL MANAGER experience for their CHICAGO-LOOP location. This is a PERM-DIRECT/HIRE position. Paid interview expenses for out of town candidates. NO RELOCATION EXPENSES OFFERED WITH THIS POSITION.
. This position requires (minimum 2 years) recent experience LEADING the design, architecture, implementation of Cisco voice products; Cisco Call Manager, Unity, IPCC, etc. Either as a consultant OR performing same in a LARGE corporation at multiple sites, geographies, for HUNDREDS and typically THOUSANDS of phones in a corporate or call center environment.

Salary Range:
$90,000 - $120,000 plus bonus

25%

Will assist in relocation for right candidate

The incumbent of this position will:

. Perform client consultation: plan, design, implement, and support the voice infrastructure
. Develop and implement the technical architecture and physical design of the network: analyze existing voice and data networks and recommend solutions
. Set up, configure, and test Cisco Call Manager, Unity, Call Manager Express, Unity Express, Cisco LAN switches (core, distribution and access), Cisco firewalls, routers and voice gateways, etc.
. Troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade, and provide solutions to complex hardware/software problems
. Assist Account Managers during the sales process by educating the customer about new technologies and IP Telephony methodology
. Assist in the management of projects using a formal project management methodology
. Ensure a stable performance environment for enterprise computer applications
. Participate in various IT projects intended to continually improve/upgrade converged network solutions
Qualifications:
. Minimum of five years related experience in infrastructure/network environments, with some experience in network engineering (hardware and software), network security practices and designing, planning and implementing LANs and WANs using the latest technology
. High-end experience in PBX and/or Call Center systems engineering experience
. Minimum of one year experience in programming or analytical work; consulting experience preferred.
. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; equivalent experience acceptable
. CCVP or CCIE certification preferred
. Experience with router configuration, knowledge of voice mail, unified messaging, ACD and IVR systems
. Ability to work weekends and/or off hours as necessary to meet clients' needs, with occasional overnight travel
. Ability to effectively communicate with clients and end users
