Online Programming Manager in Chicago, IL
Our client is looking for an Online Programming Manager, who can manage work activities of technical professionals responsible for online market research project programming and data processing. The Online Programming Manager should be able to maintain departmental processes, procedures, metrics and standards to ensure effective and accurate programming and data processing for effective project execution and customer support.
The Essential duties and responsibilities of the Online Programming Manager includes, Managing the work activities and responsible for the hiring and disciplining of departmental staff and providing and/or coordinating training activities for the department. He/ she will be preparing and administering performance reviews for immediate staff. The ideal Programming Online Manager will be providing support and guidance to the internal and the external clients as needed during questionnaire design and project execution to ensure efficient and accurate data collection. He/ she will also be managing outside resources to subsidize internal staff with daily workload and also will be developing, implementing and revising, as necessary, processes and procedures to ensure the most accurate and timely activities are performed as standard practice. The Online Programming Manager will be monitoring satisfaction and quality of service provided by the department and he/she will be performing other essential duties as assigned.

Experience: The ideal Online Programming Manager must have at least a minimum five years of experience in business-setting and also minimum three years of experience supervising a team of technical professionals.The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent in experience. Advanced degree, certification or experience in market research field is considered as a plus.
The ideal candidate must have the following Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The ability to effectively lead and motivate others in accomplishing established goals. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external clients. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, handle and oversee multiple projects within established timeframe. Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software systems. Knowledge of specialized software programs (mrInterview, Dimensions, Studio) is a plus.
