This is a Junior BA role, however, we want someone who has been very hands-on with JSP, Dreamweaver, VBA Excel, HTML, SQL. So this would be a developer that wants to do less development and move to BA, or a BA that can code.

Position Description:
Junior Business Analyst. The role is Chicago based and will have Chicago focus but will involve working with global business and IT groups.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collection and validation of business requirements for ongoing projects
- Design applicable, user friendly solutions
- Support development by doing interface prototyping and data reconciliation
- Provide guidance to IT group members relating to business processes and build awareness of business goals within the team

Strong performers can expect a 10-15% annual bonus.


Experience: Required Work Experience:
- 1-3 Years experience in a Business Analysis or Developer role
- Ability to mock up screens using Visio/Power Point or equivalent
- Experience in IT development (JSP, Dreamweaver, HTML, VBA/Excel, SQL, Java)

Desirable Work Experience:
- Experience working in financial services industry
- Experience with Adobe PhotoShop, Flash, or equivalent

Required Technical/Business Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, logical and problem solving abilities

Desirable Technical/Business Skills and Knowledge:
- Competent understanding of Databases, Web and Client-Server applications

Required Education and Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science
