Our client, a MAJOR Corpoation located in the Chicago-Loop currently seeks a SR. SYSTEMS ANALYST for a 6+ month engagement. Budgeting software application experience desireable.Perform the activities related to analyzing IT and/or Business requirements, designing, building, testing, implementing and maintaining solutions, products and processes with the guidance of a Lead Analyst. Lead/coordinate the tasks of subordinate contractors as well as other IT support areas. Perform this service primarily in support of the Budgeting software application system. Major Accountabilities" Budgeting software application system IT Leado Act as primary contact for business engagemento 24x7 pager duty - Single Point of Contact for all application issueso Direct weekly status meetings with business and ITo Work with business to prioritize and manage all maintenance and support tasks" Physical Security IT Leado Act as primary contact for external vendors and business engagemento 24x7 pager duty - Single Point of Contact for all application issueso Direct biweekly status meetings with business and ITo Work with business, external vendor and other IT groups to prioritize and manage all maintenance and support taskso Assist with implementation of regulatory requirements and documenting new procedures " Use internal tools for workflow management and adhere to internal compliance standards.Role SpecificationsAppropriate technical skills/background and related experience including:" Strong Project Management Skills" 5 years of IT experience (Strong Application Architecture Knowledge)o Use of MS Office suite requiredo General unix skills including cron, vi editor and basic directory navigation and file manipulation " Demonstrates product knowledge and basic technical skills obtained through assignments" Maintains and builds upon customer relationships" Strong oral and written communication skills" Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience
