Our client in downtown area is looking for a Web/Application Developer with 2+ years of experience who will provide support and leadership for application and Web development functions for the Marketing Department. The Web/Application Developer will work with consultants, the project management office, content writers and Marketing management to ensure efficient day-to-day operations and development of new customer-facing applications. The Developer will maintain existing web sites and develop new sites and web-based applications; and analyze traffic patterns to streamline interfaces and correct issues. The Web/Application Developer will work with the IT Project Managers to develop standards and operating procedures for change management, business continuity and deployment of new applications and communicate to management and Associates all routine maintenance intervals including contingency or possible interruption of service. The Developer will be required to participate in a minimum of 20 hours per calendar year of technical training, either company sponsored or through personal education and professional development learning.

Experience: The Web/Application Developer should have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering,Mathematics, Web Development or related field, or equivalent experience. The Developer should have experience working with a mix of web technologies such
as Markup Languages - XHTML, Dynamic HTML and XML, CSS; Scripting Languages - JavaScript, VBScript, ASP.NET, PHP, Ajax, Cold fusion, Flash, C#, and SQL;Web Servers - Windows, IIS, and Apache; and Relational Database - SQL Server 2000/2005. Experience with IDEs including Visual Studio 2003/2005 and Dreamweaver is
also required. The Web/Application Developer should have excellent oral and written communications skills and be able to work effectively in a multi-task team environment with emphasis on peak performance and results.
