Position: Client is a professional services firm based in Chicago, IL (Rolling Meadows) that provides a unique mixture of scientific expertise, consulting, and technology to global organizations. Founded in 1977, Client is a recognized leader in organizational science serving our large and successful, global clients. An Applications Tester is needed to join our established team of highly-skilled application developers, interface architects, database design specialists, and other IT professionals. The Applications Tester develops test suites and interfaces designed to stress and unit test various components of internal applications and programs, find and document bugs, and communicate re-creation criteria in a clear and concise manner. Qualifications: 3-5 years professional experience in a Testing/QA role using MS SQL Server, and MS Access - 1-2 years of development experience (i.e. VB, web development) - 3-5 years experience with unit testing, stress testing, and regression testing - 3-5 years experience with a Formal Bug Tracking System - Previous experience with statistics a plus - Must demonstrate ability in working with others in a team-oriented environment - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of study - Previous experience of writing SQL a plus If interested and qualified for the position please apply online and fill out the questions asked in as much detail as possible.
